My role as Audit and Accounts Manager at TTR Barnes Ltd involves managing a team of staff at varying levels of qualification. We identified from in house appraisals some skills gaps, particularly in excel and communication, and we have some staff who have recently been promoted to assistant managers, so when we found out MTC Training offered fully funded courses focusing in excel, communication and managing people, it seemed a great opportunity to upskill.
I was impressed by the huge variety of courses on offer which suits the needs of most organisations, and that courses can be tailored to your individual needs, so we were able to get the most out of the experience.
Since attending the course, staff have gained skills and knowledge that has already helped them in their roles. Those on the Excel courses has vastly improved their skills and have utilised their newfound knowledge to tailor workbooks to better suit our needs as a business and modernised our system. The skills gained at the communication course have already been applied to recent networking events attended by managers, and those on the leadership course are using their new skills to step up in their new roles.
This was our first time using MTC Training and the experience has been really positive. The courses were well organised and structured and every staff member who attended a course has gained from it. It’s helped our staff members to feel valued as we took the time to listen to their needs and implement high quality training. We would definitely recommend to any other organisation and we would be interested in attending courses again in the future.
